These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the RUMMS website and the purchase of products from us.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

RUMMS operates as a sister brand of G&D Cabinet Makers Ltd.

2. Products

We design and sell furniture and interior products through our website.

Some products may be:

  • ready for dispatch (stock items)

  • made to order

  • custom made

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, slight variations in colour, finish or material may occur.

3. Orders

Orders are placed through our website or directly with us.

By placing an order you confirm that:

  • all information provided is accurate

  • you are legally capable of entering a contract

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders if necessary.

4. Payment

Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.

We accept payments through:

  • Stripe (credit and debit cards)

  • bank transfer (by arrangement)

Orders will not be processed until payment has been received.

5. Made-to-Order & Custom Products

Some of our products are made specifically for the customer.

Custom or made-to-order products:

  • are manufactured after purchase

  • cannot be cancelled once production has started

  • are non-returnable and non-refundable

This does not affect your statutory rights if the item is faulty.

6. Delivery

Currently we deliver within the United Kingdom only.

Estimated delivery times:

Stock items:
7–10 working days

Made-to-order items:
3–4 weeks

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on production and logistics.

7. Shipping Damage

We take responsibility for goods until they are delivered.

Customers must inspect goods upon delivery.

If an item arrives damaged:

  • notify us within 48 hours

  • provide photos of the damage and packaging

We will arrange repair, replacement or refund where appropriate.

8. Returns (Standard Products)

Customers have the right to return standard items within 14 days of delivery.

Conditions:

  • item must be unused

  • item must be returned in original packaging

  • customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Once we receive and inspect the item, we will issue a refund.

9. Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • custom furniture

  • made-to-order products

  • items that have been used or damaged after delivery

10. Warranty

All furniture products include a 12 month workmanship warranty from the date of delivery.

This warranty covers manufacturing defects.

It does not cover:

  • normal wear and tear

  • misuse or improper care

  • accidental damage

  • modifications made by the customer

11. Intellectual Property

All website content including:

  • designs

  • text

  • images

  • product designs

are the intellectual property of G&D Cabinet Makers Ltd and RUMMS.

They may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from the use of our products or website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
